Bas ok sejak Ipoh transit dan Perak transit. Petang dan hujung minggu susah skit sebab ramai pekerja asing naik bas.

There was a bus service, Kumpulan Bas Perak, operating in Selama, but now operating in Ipoh. There are only two companies operating in Ipoh and belong to the same people.


Pihak yang berkenaan - memberi tindak balas tetapi sudah mencukupi: Perak Consumer's Association (PCA) - Perak Transit is going for public listing, but there is plenty of room for improvement. Only foreigners are using public transport. Conditions, schedules and rules are not comfortable. They should employ a specialist. Too much time waiting for it.
Persatuan Kebajikan Warga Tua Sri Bahagia - It is the same. Public transport has not improved.
Pusat Pembangunan Kebudayaan LLG - Bus service is still OK, but tourism service is not enough.
MTUC - Banyak orang ada transport sendiri.
Ipoh City Watch (ICW) - Perak Transit is trying to do something. Newer and airconditioned buses. They have to stop building bus stops and instead have more buses.
Ipoh Rate payers Association - Ipoh is decadent when it comes to bus services. 45 year old buses still operating.
Ng Clan Association - Buses from bad to worst. Only foreign workers in these buses. Locals are too rich to take buses. The bus services are reduced because of low take up rates plus there are reports of foreigners harassing the local girls.
Persatuan Penduduk Taman Merdeka - Bus service is improving. Taman no service but at the main road there is good bus connectivity.
Komen KUASA:

Kebanyakan respon memberi gambaran yang prestasi perkhidmatan bas di kawasan Ipoh telah meningkat tetapi pihak KUASA tidak mendapat laporan positif berkenaan daerah-daerah lain di Perak. Perlu diakui yang beberapa responden semakin positif dengan pengangkutan di Ipoh. Isu pengangkutan daerah dalam jangka masa pendek dan panjang akan bergantung kepada volume pengguna, kualiti servis dan tahap komunikasi oleh operator, regulator dan konsumer.
